An art gallery is a building or an open space in which art exhibitions are held.The most frequently exhibited art objects are the objects of visual art such as
-Paintings :They are art objects made by applying paint, pigment, color or other medium to a surface. Different types of paint are usually applied to the base with a brush or other implements, such as knives, sponges, and airbrushes. There are different working characteristics of the paint, such as viscosity, miscibility, solubility, drying time, etc.
-drawings:The art of drawing is the simplest and most efficient means of communicating visual ideas. Artists produce drawings using different types of instruments such as pencils, pen and ink, inked brushes, wax color pencils, crayons, charcoal, chalk, pastels, various kinds of erasers,markers, styluses,and various metals (such as silver point) and electronic drawing.
-Collages which may include magazine and newspaper clippings, ribbons, paint, bits of colored or handmade papers, portions of other artwork or texts, photographs and other found objects, glued to a piece of paper or canvas.
-Pastels are also art objects that are frequently exhibited in art galleries. These are artwork made using pastels that consist of sticks or crayons made out of pure powdered pigment combined with a binder.
-Watercolors is a painting method in which the paints are made of pigments suspended in a water-soluble vehicle.
-Potographs :They are art objects produced through"drawing with light". Most photographs are created using a camera, which uses a lens to focus the scene's visible wavelengths of light into a reproduction of what the human eye would see.
-Sculptures :They are works of art made by carving which consists in the removal of material, modelling that is the addition of material, as clay, or by assembling which is the art of welding , molding, or casting materials.
