How to test speaking in an English class?

This is a link to a power point presentation about testing speaking in English classrooms.It deals with the different aspects of language teachers may evaluate in a speaking test with different techiques and grading scales allowing teachers to test learners regularly rather than once a year at the final oral exam.

I /Warm up

1-    Name and movement

-Learners will be asked to tell their names through body movements without being allowed to use words.

II/Adverb activity

-Learners will be divided into groups, each group will be asked to choose an action, and then perform it in the way the adverb they chose describes. The remaining groups will guess the adverb the group members are miming.

-This activity may be done through flash cards: Learners will be provided with flash cards showing adverbs and will be asked to perform actions in the way the adverb describes. Their colleagues will guess what the adverb is.
